I am born in a small city by the name of Kempten in the south of Germany, close to the alps, where there are more pretty cows than girls.

I am a really bad student but I am the champion of bavarian table tennis. My dad is proud!
1984
I am the only boy under 4 sisters. My mum is the 5th and still the true star of the family. My real given first name is f... bad. I have to leave this world. A guitar dealer in New York tells me to change my name, dude! My name is now Charley!
1987
As a self acclaimed fashion photographer LA is the perfect set up to find creativity and fake boobs!
1989
Back in ALL-gäu I finish my study of economics with a masters degree in something I actually forgot... and I say to my dad: Papa I wanna be a fashion photographer!
1990
In LA I learn my photographic skills under strange situations that even once leads me to arrest from the police. My mum sends me her last money. We’re not rich at all. My dad reheats coffee from the day before.
1991
Back, now in Munich, I am full of convidence about what I learned and I start to bother quite a few possible fashion clients , one gives in. Luckily he likes me! A lot! But he goes bankrupt.

I apply as a marketing assistant to a local cheese factory.
1992
4 people have mercy with me and with a sheer stroke of unbelievabilities and I guess being born in ALL-gäu I shoot my first campaign in Milan. The picture appears europeanwide in the biggest fashion magazines with my name printed on it. The picture, a woman pinches a man's ass.
1993
I shoot a german MAX cover at a time where Peter Lindbergh or Helmut Newton are framing the covers. The picture, a woman gives a topless man in jesus pose a blowjob in endless sand dunes of Southafrica.
1994
Too broke again, my wife at that time suggests that I shoot weddings to make some money!
1995
I agree, out of money reasons, to be a setphotographer on the set on my agency creative friend and songwriter for our band „ Sleep on the couch - Thomas Geiger“. I was the singer but I really wasn’t very good. The pictures I take that day though likes commercial producer Andreas Simon much more than the commercial he produces for his company GAP films. His fiancee is from ALL-gäu!
1996
BMG Ariola’s marketingboss Werner Dotterweich says: Charley, do you wanna shoot a video for me. I say yes, I shit my pants. I call Andreas. I shoot my first film.
1997
My 2nd film is starring a very white and thin SM model from London wins GOLD for best social film in New York: the subject is against prejudice.
1997
The british Campaign magazine votes me under the top 10 newcomer directors in the world. I have no clue why. Oh well. I have the title!
1998
I join GAP Films, one of the best commercial production houses in Germany, as a partner. I win awards and I hang up the phone if i don't like a creative. They call me back!
1997-1999
I travel the world, big time, finally. I fly firstclass, sometimes. I am totally hip and happy and oblivious to any depths. And I am turning fat.
1.1.2000 divorce.
2000
I move to Los Angeles. I wanna be a Hollywood director. I say no to films with Sly Stallone, or Jean Claude Van Damme or etc. and I say yes to a horror thriller called PSYCHIC with oscar winner Cuba Gooding jr.
2001
I fly to Melbourne against the will of my management and with a local crew of over 100 people and a 15 Mio Dollar budget for Franchise Pictures / Warner, Cuba Gooding never shows up. He starrs in Snowdogs instead.
2002
I going mad trying to be a Hollywood director, my ultimate proof of succsess to the outside world. I ignore to take a meeting for the movie Constantine with Columbia. I tell my agent, who is not my agent anymore, that I think Keanu Reeevs being attached is a really bad actor! Ok,I am stupid!
2003
After meeting my favourite actor of all time Gary Oldman at a Starbucks in LA it takes 7 months to get his signature. When I get it, I am in my Soho flat in London and I start to cry after all these years of trying to be somebody important.

I shoot my own co-written 16 Mio Dollar movie with Gary Oldman, Robert Carlyle, Terence Stamp, Billy Zane, Elena Anaya, Jimi Mistry and Andrew-Lee Potts called DEAD FISH entirely in London, with music created by Groove Armada’s Andy Cato. And I have a driver!
2004
I sign a contract with New Line to direct a movie called ROOFWORLD in London. A film about a secret society of people living on the rooftops of London in the future. It’s a big, cool movie. Like a new Bladerunner. I know i will be a famous cool known director.
2005
My salesagent gets sued for over 100 Mio Dollars. Some famous editor in LA is reediting my movie to pieces after me cutting it for 8 months with my editor in London. Frame by frame. My movie dies. DEAD FISH!! New Line’s „Golden Compass“ is their casket nail. ROOFWORLD is dead, too.
2005
London turns into dark cellar. I can’t wear my sunglasses for almost a year! I have to go back to LA. Why not! At least the sun is shining.
2006
I really don’t like women anymore! I also don’t like Paula Ferraro the ex girlfriend of one of my LA producers. She doesn’t like me too. (I know now, why!!!) I want her to leave. She picks up a guitar case, walks by me, not saying a word. Imagine how bad the energy was between the 2 of us. I say: „Do you play guitar?“ She answers: „Yeah, you wanna hear?

Paula Ferraro and me rent a hotelroom on Santa Monica Blvd and we write song after song. Brando the teddybear always a member of the founded band called GIRL & BOY.
2007
We travel the world and made, especially write, music. Her talent of poetry is simply amazing. She becomes my lyric teacher.
2008
I shoot a worldwide campaign for Allianz. After being half way around the world I touch ground in Mumbai. And after being in Beijing I promise myself that I will never ever have an unhappy day in my life and that I desperatly need my first woman free apartment.

I find it in the centre of Munich next to my favourite Birchermuesli. The new flat has a colored light floor!

I start writing songs. Night for night. On my own illuminated by color. Trying to somehow match the level of Paula’s lyrics.

I shoot quite a few social and educational films for the arabic youth. The man who gave me the job is called Mr H. No further questions. But shooting campaigns that could safe young people’s lifes truly makes me happy as well as writing music.

I meet my Southafrican born Amiena Zylla on a wedding in Ibiza. She is a small famous Yogi. But she thinks all Yogi’s have a stick up their asses. I told her, well let’s pull the stick out!

Amiena, being a movement genius, and me create a movement concept ( name comes later on the website) that is the most oppositional idea to everything and maybe some people call it nuts. At least the worlds most famous living psychologist: Dr Max Luescher gives us his blessings in Switzerland.

I shoot a russian commercial in Kiev. The owner of the camera rental house Igor Tarnapolsky, leads me to a music studio within the rental „hangar“ called Revolution. Great a jam, I think.

A young muscian, Evgeny Filatov, joins in and creates an unreal athmosphere in the room. I record the jam badly in my phone. Out of the jam and out of his singing tones I write the song SHINE in small flat in Kiev on my Marty guitar with only on 3 chords . D, Am, F. I never said I am great guitar player!

I write a German black comedy with Author Damir Fister. But no studio or lable to finance the movie likes the script although we have the 2 leading young German actors Ken Duken and Friedrich Mücke on board.

With my girl on the piano, I start writing songs. Many!

The electronic rockalbum SOULMATE SUBLIME – is realeased. The band THE MANEKEN are Maxim Shevchenko – guitar, Andriy Gagauz – bass, Denis Marinkin – drums and Evgeny Filatov, The maneken, music genius and front man. Evgeny and me basically wrote 11 songs in 11 days together. Soulmate Sublime.

I make it into the famous books of WHO IS WHO! I am as confused as the title! We perform a recorded song as the headliners at the Naples Classical Cultural Fesitival.
